As part of our Shared Education program we are taking part in a local study of Magherafelt, with our buddies from the Gaelscoil and Magherafelt Primary. We were able to witness what actually happens to all the rubbish that is put into our bins at home. This was a smelly experience in some parts! We then got to visit the very glamorous council office to question our local councilors and find out what they do to help our local community. This was great fun! Also, thank you to everyone at the council who made us very welcome and provided us all with a goody bag.
ARTICLE 15: Every child has the right to meet with other children. ARTICEL 24: Governments must work to provide every child with a clean environment and we must learn how we can all do our part to help.
