Children’s Mental Health Week in Year 5
We started the week by learning about the power of positive thinking. We shared positive affirmations about ourselves with our classmates and created a beautiful ‘Change your mindset’ display. We have been learning how to turn negative thoughts into positives ones and how to make the best out of a challenging situation.
We took part in mindfulness lessons where we listened to calming music and learnt relaxation techniques in class. In Art this week we engaged in mindfulness drawing and doodling. We know it is important to look after our mental health.
