Primary 1 have been busy celebrating the Chinese New Year during PBL and literacy. This is the year of the rat! We had a Chinese restaurant in the classroom, we made rice shakers, we used the play dough to make Chinese Dragons. We made and decorated lovely dancing dragons and Chinese Lanterns. We read lots of traditional Chinese books. We built The Great Wall of China out of construction blocks.
