Mars Rover Capsules
26th Oct 2018
Year 5 had 'a blast' today making their 'Mars Rover Capsules.' The children had to create a capsule from recycled material to protect their Mars Rover (an egg). Mr McNamee then replicated the Mars Rover landing on Mars by dropping the capsules towards the ground.
The results were very interesting with 7 of the eggs surviving the mission and 1 egg unfortunately not making a successful landing.
Lots of creativity, problem solving and working with others being used in our Technology and Design.
Have a look at our pictures and videos.
