P5 enjoyed their trip to Davagh forest.

P5 spent a fun day at Davagh Forest and the OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory.
We started the day meeting one of the Giants of the Sperrins before having a guided walking tour through part of the forest hearing all about the animals that inhabit there.  We made our way to the OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory where we had lunch followed by a tour.  We were able to take turns to look through the telescope and see the amazing red sun, before going up to hear all about the connections between the stars and the stones at Beaghmore Stone Circles.  The weather was on our side and we got to finish up with a play at the park.
