P5 had the most “space”tastic trip to the Armagh Planetarium. They visited the space movie theatre and looked at the planets and star constellations up close. Pupils then travelled on a virtual space rollercoaster. P5 had the opportunity to become engineers by creating and launching their own rockets. The day was finished off with time to explore the space exhibition. It was a brilliant way to end our topic “Reach for the stars”. Everyone had a great day out learning and taking part in so many practical activities.
