The Primary 4 class visited the Seamus Heaney Centre in Bellaghy and took part in activities. They looked at the poem A Kite for Aibhin, created individual kites and then had the opportunity to fly the kites! In the afternoon the class got a guided tour of the Centre and were able to read and listen to lots of different poems written by Seamus Heaney as well as find out more information about him and his family. This was an amazing trip and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
