On Thursday 14th March, the girls' hockey team headed to Ballymena Academy to take part in the qualification for the McCloy Cup. The girls played some excellent hockey and competed against some difficult teams during the tournament winning 3 of their games and drawing 3. This allowed them to qualify for the semi final and after finishing 0-0 after extra time, the girls were very unlucky, losing on penalty runs.
Throughout the tournament the girls never conceded a goal during their matches, which is an amazing achievement.
The girls should be extremely proud of themselves.
