World Toilet Day Live Lesson
Today pupils in P5 joined lots of schools across the UK in a live lesson about World Toilet Day. We learnt how privileged we are to have toilet and handwashing faciltites when others in the world do not. The charity Wateraid shared how they help to build toilets and facilities for people who have none. We also took part in a quiz about what we should and shoudn’t flush down our toilet.
Article 24 (health and health services) Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must provide good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food, and a clean environment and education on health
and well-being so that children can stay healthy. Richer countries must help poorer countries achieve this.
