Year 5 had a great ‘Go green Amazon’ themed fun day! They came into school in a fantastic array of green and Amazon themed costumes along with some cuddly creatures. They entered their rainforest themed classroom and started into a day of Amazon themed activities. In the morning they were recycling collected materials to create 3D rainforest models.
They loved having their break snack outside on the grass with their Amazon animals! Later in the day they were out and about in the school grounds, using their explorer skills in an Amazon mystery trail. They finished up the fun day with their Amazon treat bags and watching a relaxing movie!
Well done to everyone for making such an effort with their costumes! Year 5 ended their school year on a really positive note with smiles all round!
